At Clarity Detailing, our goal is always to bring out the very best in every vehicle’s finish. This Silver Audi RS5 came to us with light swirl marks and surface haze dulling its gloss. Through a comprehensive Paint Correction detail, we restored the depth, clarity, and sharpness that this performance coupe deserves.
Every correction begins with proper preparation. The RS5 received a safe wash and full decontamination, including iron fallout and tar removal to eliminate all bonded contaminants. With the surface clean and smooth, we carried out a full paint inspection to identify imperfections and plan the correction stages needed.
Using a combination of rotary and dual-action polishers, we worked panel by panel to refine the finish — removing light to moderate defects, swirl marks, and marring from previous wash damage. On metallic silver, precision is key; each polishing stage was chosen to enhance depth and brightness without compromising clarity.
The result was a true mirror-like gloss that reflected light beautifully from every angle.
Once the correction was complete, we applied a paint sealant to lock in the gloss and add a layer of short-term protection. This not only enhances the finish but also makes future maintenance easier and safer.
Under workshop lighting, the RS5’s silver paint regained its crisp metallic flake and rich depth. What was once a tired, slightly dull finish was transformed into a sharp, reflective surface that looks every bit as powerful as the car itself.
